Bridgetown's FTP Server Instructions
Please compress your files before uploading as this will speed up the transfer time and protect against file corruption. If you have multiple files, please place all of the files in to one folder and compress the folder to create one file for upload.
• Bridgetown FTP Web Access
Using the web browser of your choice, type or copy and paste the following into your browser.
http://ftp.bridgetown.com
To log in, enter the following:
User Name: guest
Password: password
To upload (send) to us, click on the incoming folder link, then click on the browser uploader button.
A Java signature certificate message may appear. If so, click trust.
The upload file dialog will appear.
Click browse.
A dialog window will appear. Navigate to find your file, then select your file and double click, or click the open button.
Click the start uploading button.
A status bar will appear and will show as done when the transfer is complete.
When the transfer is complete, click the red arrow at top right to close the upload window.
Please logout when complete.
To download (retrieve) from us, click the outgoing folder link and find your file in the outgoing folder.
Click to download.
Please logout when complete.
• Using Your FTP Client Application
FTP client applications (like Transmit or Filezilla) are made specifically for file transfer and provide the most stable file transfer.
To log in, enter the following:
To upload (send) to us, place your zipped file in to the incoming folder.
Please disconnect or logout when done.
To download (retrieve) from us, your file will be in the outgoing folder.
Please disconnect or logout when done.
If you would like to set up your own ftp account, which would be accessible to only you and Bridgetown, please supply us with a user name and password. Contact your Sales Representative or Project Planner to initiate your request. Please allow one day to complete your request.
